    AR 41 Markings

I just picked up this Kar98kicon about 3 weeks ago at the gun show. It is an AR41 and appears to be all original. All of the waffenamts match (#26) and correspond to the Borgiswald factory. The butt stock is marked "1.12 1941" and "Br" underneath the butt plate. The numbers all appear to match and there is an "e" shaped symbol on the pommel below the serial number. Any ideas as to what the "Br" and the "e" represents? It also has a "P" on the stock.
