making new no32 scopes?
Hi all, I'm in email contact with a company currently making repros of german and other ww2 sniper scopes. I asked them why not no32 enfield and they emailed back and said why not indeed...they want technical info and more history etc. Anyone interested in picking this up? I'll step out.

Hey, if it was only like those darn 'authentic' 1937 soviet pems, they offer to engrave whatever year and serial you like on it before they ship!

Pecar "Berlin" have (or rather had) already done it with a copy of the No 32; whilst not an exact repro it was very much in the spirit of the original.

If you have to adjust it, a N032Mk3 copy is A LOT better.

The Mk 2/1 has the Mk 3 adjustments but the refined internals of the Mk 2, possibly the best of all the No 32's.(!?)

RJW -- I've already had Mk1/2 grat block assemblies done, as well as complete Mk3 range & deflection drum assemblies, so anything's possible, though all of mine were made to get original incomplete scopes up & running again.
It would be interesting to know how much it would cost.....

Well, the bits Mr. Payne has done would be just the thing for 2/1's.....

I just wonder where you'll go when it's out of focus or when it's fogged up between the inner and outer ocular. Mmmmmmmmmmm
