My partner in crime has several Springfield 1903 trainers in his collection, he has several different configurations, is there any value to these almost guns? many thanks-SDH

A Collector's View - The SMLE Short Magazine Lee Enfield 1903-1989. It is 300 8.5x11 inch pages with 1,000+ photo’s, most in color, and each book is serial-numbered. Covering the SMLE from 1903 to the end of production in India in 1989 it looks at how each model differs and manufacturer differences from a collecting point of view along with the major accessories that could be attached to the rifle. Which type of trainers? M1922 .22cal M1903 trainers, or the solid wood RAI dummy guns, or possibly the real-looking "drill" dummy guns that had cast receivers, etc.?

In any event, I would consider them collectible milsurp items.

These are all Parris-Dunn, some with stampings and steel barrels and one with a wood barrel, I'm thinking very early war trainer-SDH
