help in identification...
Hi all,
though this post does not pertain to firearms it does pertain to WW2 Canadian surplus and since there is such a wealth of knowledge amongst the members here I'm hoping to find an answer. Does anyone know what these are, besides gaiters I mean. I have two of them as a pair, obviously left and right, though I can't find any more info about who wore them or for what. I'm guessing they would be for a dispatch rider due to the length.
Any ideas?

[QUOTE=Badger;11708][size=2]They "C Broad Arrow" marked indicating acceptance for Canadian military service. They are Web Pattern 37 and were manufactured in 1942 by "Z.L.& T.L." - Zephyr Loom and Textiles Ltd. of Peterborough, Ontario.
This is the stuff I already knew, but thanks for the links to pics, Badger.
I've lurked through most of them already!
I own quite a bit of kit myself and have many reference materials, but have never seen these.
Funny thing about the loops, they don't tighten!
Anyhow, thanks for the suggestions.
