    BSW Kar98K Russian Capture

    Hey Everyone,

I wanted to ask opinions on the value of a Russianicon Capture Kar98K. I know generally they run anywhere from 400-600 depending on the condition, location, and buyer. However, I wanted to ask opinions about this particular one.

It is a 1937 BSW, which as far as I can find is a fairly rare maker. What kind of premium would this maker bring? What would you value it at?

Would it be worth the trouble of putting it on gunbroker, or would I do just almost as well locally without the hassle? (I live in Tennessee).

I will most likely sell it in the next couple of months. I just wanted to know if it is something special or if I should just expect similar results to any other RC K98icon.

    Thanks for your thoughts!

It should bring a premium due to the rarity of the code / date. Some collect by that.

I ended up selling it to a friend for $600. I think it could go higher on gunbroker but I don’t fool with selling on there.

A fair price that you should both be happy about.
