Holster Oddity

A friend recently brought me this holster for identification. He thought it was for a P08, but I've never seen one like that. Any ideas? Thanks!

Covering the SMLE from 1903 to the end of production in India in 1989 it looks at how each model differs and manufacturer differences from a collecting point of view along with the major accessories that could be attached to the rifle. Thanks for the I.D. My friend bought this at an auction for $100 and thought he paid too much. He tends to be pretty lucky though - at the same auction he bought a Winchester 97 WWI era riot gun for $250. Nice shape. Regards, George

WOW on the shotgun. He probably did OK on the holster although German icon

models are going to be a premium just because they are German.
