A Collector's View - The SMLE Short Magazine Lee Enfield 1903-1989. It is 300 8.5x11 inch pages with 1,000+ photo’s, most in color, and each book is serial-numbered. Covering the SMLE from 1903 to the end of production in India in 1989 it looks at how each model differs and manufacturer differences from a collecting point of view along with the major accessories that could be attached to the rifle. Paul, nice display. Did you make the racks holding the carbines? Am interested in how they are constructed but couldn't get a close up to tell. Any way you can email, or post, a closeup of them.
I'm doing a show in Feb and would like to make a better rack than I've been using.

Yes I had them made by a friend who did woodworking. I designed them and him and I experimented with different heights and depths till we perfected the perfect design. It is reletively easy with the deminsions. I will call you and measure the demensions and send you pics. I do have a patent on them LOL! My email is m1cc@msn.com so send me a number and I will call you.

That is what happens when you respond to a post at 1 a.m. in the morning. mpd1978 I did OGCA twice once in their display show and once as their featured guest did you attend either of those? JimFM1 quit picking on me I'm fragile! LOL

Sure, Paul... Next you will tell us you are recovering from heart problems....

Oh, and speaking of almost dying, have you corrected your will to reflect me getting your collection yet?

Must have missed those two shows. I usually miss several of the OGCAs during the year, which sucks because it is a great show

mpd1978 if I did decide to display at the OGCA in May 7&8 2011 would you attend? It is a 1000 mile round trip for me how far of a drive is it for you?
