If you can't view the advertisement, it's probably due to the fact that you have to subscribe to the EE (Equipment Exchange) forums on CGN, in order to view them.

    Seller says:

    "Antique Webley price drop

P.Webley and Sons N0.4 Pryse type revolver. Antique Status. Fires .450,.455 mkI and MkII, .476 and ( .45 schofield length cartridges with minor rim thinning. )

    Antique class

    Bore is MINT.

Action, lock up timing etc are excellent.

    very accurate!

This is the model of Webley you carried if you were Rich. Winston Churchhill Went to SA with the exact model.

This is a late production example with serial number 10,XXX

This is as good a british antique revolver as you can get. No upgrading from here. Original condition finish make this a desirable collectable and it's ability to drive tacks with the best of them makes it a shooter's dream.

    $2200.00 shipped express post

(will give 200 dollar trade credit for a 10/22)"
Any feedback from you experienced revolver collectors?

    Regards
    Badger

Nice gun, but IMHO, you can get them cheaper in the US and import them yourslf as an antique if you're a Canadianicon.

Nice gun. Antique status has been driving actual realized selling prices of this class of handgun up. Nickle plated spur trigger .32 rimfires seem to sell for as much as $300. Have heard of Mk. I Webleys selling for over $1000. I dothink that the reduced price of $2200 is, well, optimistic.
