A Collector's View - The SMLE Short Magazine Lee Enfield 1903-1989. It is 300 8.5x11 inch pages with 1,000+ photo’s, most in color, and each book is serial-numbered. Covering the SMLE from 1903 to the end of production in India in 1989 it looks at how each model differs and manufacturer differences from a collecting point of view along with the major accessories that could be attached to the rifle. For the record this is not a moneymaker, I hope just to break even, eventually, at $80/book plus shipping. In the USA shipping is $5.00 for media mail. I will accept PayPal, Zelle, MO and good old checks (and cash if you want to stop by for a tour!). CLICK BANNER to send me a PM for International pricing and shipping. Manufacturer of various vintage rifle scopes for the 1903 such as our M73G4 (reproduction of the Weaver 330C) and Malcolm 8X Gen II (Unertl reproduction). Several of our scopes are used in the CMP Vintage Sniper competition on top of 1903 rifles. Brian Dick ... Rifle owner looking for scope 35-C --- There were two REL C No.32 scopes made with that serial number. We need to know your rifle serial number. If found, one scope 35-C would "match" and the other would be incorrect.

OLD MESSAGE: "No.4 MK. I (T) BSA 1943 serial number AP5783 looking for No. 32 MK. I scope 1872 in bracket AP5783. I purchased the rifle out of Pennsylvania in 2015. Bracket and scope had appeared in Nebraska in 2014."

    RESULT:

Through the help of Brian Dickicon at BDLicon. Ltd. in South Carolina, the owner of this scope 1872 bracket for rifle AP5783 and case was located in the last few months and negotiations began. A deal was struck and I shipped the rifle off 2016-08-17 on to Brian Quandt in Nebraska via Bordrview in Lynden, WA, which handles fireams transactions across the US-CANADA border.

Thank you to Peter Laidlericon as well for the tip.

With the able assistance of Brian Dickicon (BDLicon Ltd.) the owner of the scope/bracket/scope case was located in Nebraska. The rifle ended up going to Nebraska to be reunited with its optics.

    I have Rifle # X33535 and bracket # N36878. Looking for scope# 28314.

Victory to report. I was contacted over on Gunboards by a third party to tell me that the scope I had on my rifle (# 24635) matches a rifle that was posted here in post #57.

Arrangements to reunite the scope with the rifle are currently being worked out.

I have a BSA 4T rifle. Looking for one of the two scopes that it wore at some point: Serial # 11346 (lined out, original scope) or serial #17125 (the replacement scope)
