A Collector's View - The SMLE Short Magazine Lee Enfield 1903-1989. It is 300 8.5x11 inch pages with 1,000+ photo’s, most in color, and each book is serial-numbered. Not a scope can, but I just picked up a SA No. 15 chest originally paired with rifle K34295 and scope 18317. If you have her drop me a note for a horse trade.

According to my quite extensive records for telescopes I've worked on since the year dot or certainly when pontius was a pilot, Scope 28077 is (now) fitted to a rifle 33525 and is now owned by Lloyd Brown. He says(?) that it's original, but clearly it's not quite original if Navyshooter has the original softee-case

Well, sitting here in front of me I have:

    RIFLE
    P34017
    SCOPE
    28077

    Case Stg Tel
    No.8 Mk 2.
    OS 2578A
    F Ltd.

If he's interested in a swap or something, the case is not original to my load-out, so I'm not attached to it if there's an equivelant one that's for offer.

You don't get any more authentic than that! Where are you Lloyd Brown. Get in contact with Navyshooter.

This is going to be the trouble for years and years to come N-S. Complete kits being made up and 'all original' until someone comes along with the true originals and then...............

If I hadn't locked myself out of my safe for 3 months this spring, I'd have brought the scope over to Bisley with me (I was with the Canadianicon Forces team this summer at CENTSAM) to get it checked over at Fulton's.

Here's the repository of photos I have on the web right now....I can get more detailed later if desired.
