    P-14 T scope bases !

On E-Bay , listing # 200347348301 , are a pair of SMLE Lithgowicon scope mount bases. Looking at the rear mount for the SMLE I was wondering if that base will also fit a P-14(t) rear mount on the Winchester rear site ears. Have rifle , scope & front mount for many moons but not the rings nor rear mount. Please advise if u can. thanks, Herb

As far as I know the scopes were mounted per rifle configuration and involved all sorts of mounts and brackets.
But if you want a cheaper option look at ebay listing # 250435656203 , all that you would need to set up that rifle to sniper standard with a little machining.

Actually that is listed by me, and I would be happy to swap a complete Lithgowicon Stock from around 1940, has to be almost new condition and Queensland Maple.

Hi Herb, I returned your question about the bases, I probably should have looked in the forums here before listing the items, but now I have to follow through with the eBay corporate machine.
