    Just looked at my T38

I looked at the Milsurps knowledge forum about the T38. There is a lot to learn just by looking at the images there. Also a T99 is shown that resembles
    my Toyo Kogyo series 33.

First, I assume all T38s are 6.5 Japaneseicon. Next is that mine has a sideways rectangle in a circle both on the barrel shank and on top of the receiver. Also on the receiver is 2mm "0".. Closest I could come to it is a Jinsen mark which does not make sense as the rifle is Kokura with no series mark. The serial number is 1978156.

Lastly, also on the barrel shank is a S laying on it's side. That can't be for pointed bullets like a mauser?

No images at this time but I will post some later. Thanks

Good place to start for Japaneseicon rifle sheet data.

Later I did find some data sheets. The marks I mentioned are normal on some T38s. Meanings not defined.
