A Collector's View - The SMLE Short Magazine Lee Enfield 1903-1989. It is 300 8.5x11 inch pages with 1,000+ photo’s, most in color, and each book is serial-numbered. Refugee from Jouster

Hi all, my name is Warren (wazza) and I have followed Badger's posts from the Joustericon board.
First up, congratulations on an amazing achievement and long may this continue.

Anyway, I have been collecting and shooting milsurp for just over a year and already I am poor, on the verge of divorce (kidding) and happy! I have a good looking fleet of Lee Enfields and some Winchester bits and bobs. My current 'top of the pile' project is a 1904 ShtLE Mk1 which is being restored from deer rifle to original $$$

Oh, well... I am not shy and will contribute wherever possible and not always where appropriate I suppose;-)

    Cheers
    W

Hello, I have been collecting Milsurps for 35 years. Mainly WW-2 USMC and US Army. Anybody ever seen or have a US WW-2 Airborne map case? Its different from regular Infantry ones. Jumper

Hello All. I'm Jerry, (mold maker) recently retired, and looking for info on my first Enfield.
You folks come highly recommended by some pretty serious military collectors. I hope to learn a lot and maybe later contribute.
My latest purchase is a Longbranch Lee Enfield #4 Mk1 that was rescued from an intended Bubba job. The only part touched so far was the removal of the front sight guard, which is missing. I intend to load and shoot the ole gal and am looking for advice.
Thanks in advance, to hopefully, a lot of new friends.
    Jerry

    Hi guys,
I'm new here and really don't know how to use this system.
I'm a retired educator, disabled at 47, now 63, on SS and state disability, DAV with SCD but try to stay active with my shooting club I own with a partner. We have 600 yds and 127 acres, mostly trees, an informal match schedule for BR 22 RF, CF, and cast bullet. We had a reduced range Hi-Power, and some practical, fun, and long range matches, all rifle, no pistol or BP matches any more as members got too old or faded away too early.
My interests run from new factory to old military rifles, shotguns and pistols. I buy, trade and sell a few to keep busy as well with reloading components and other things like take off barrels, pistol grips and always looking for hard to find parts.
I have 3 Swedes, 3 Lee Enfields and some other goodies from way back, shoot most of them, some are hanger queens in my safes. I have too many to shoot!
