A Collector's View - The SMLE Short Magazine Lee Enfield 1903-1989. It is 300 8.5x11 inch pages with 1,000+ photo’s, most in color, and each book is serial-numbered. Covering the SMLE from 1903 to the end of production in India in 1989 it looks at how each model differs and manufacturer differences from a collecting point of view along with the major accessories that could be attached to the rifle. For the record this is not a moneymaker, I hope just to break even, eventually, at $80/book plus shipping. In the USA shipping is $5.00 for media mail. EnfieldJohn here. New to Enfields.

I have a Lithgowicon SMLE III* built in 1945 but it has no military markings. Will post all the markings and stamps that I can find upon disassembly.

Hello. As a new member would like to say thanks to all of you and am just starting my collection. I'm an ex-Canadian infantry soldier and have always been interested in the infantry soldier rifles of WW1 and WW2. That's my interest right now. I hope you folks don't mind me seeing your posts and commenting. Cheers. Mario Madau

Hello I missed this when I joined some weeks back.
From South Africa. Avid shooter, enjoy the smell of burnt powder and have a liking for old military style rifles and handguns.

I like long walks in the rain, especially in bird season and my GSP is with me

Thank you for allowing me to become a member. I served 20 years in the Marine Corps. Was issued a M1icon Garand in boot camp which set in motion my getting my own after retiring. Since then I have collected 5 Garand's, the 03 series, a carbine and several different foreign firearms.

Hello all.I have been collecting and shooting milsurps since 1964.IMHO,old rifles have a "soul" that modern guns can't come close to.I enjoy old .22 rifles for the same reason. Thanks for all the helpful info on this forum.

    Hi

I am a back yard, very amateur machinist, who makes air soft guns as a hobby and as a method of learning new things.

I have made a number of air soft guns including an mp 3008, Owen gun, Lee enfield No1 mk3.

I arrive at these forum looking for Bren gun drawings for my next project.

Very impressed with the amount of information here
