Been lurking here and learning a lot. I decided to join. I bought a new Colt Mk IV series 70 government in 1979 and have enjoyed it and shoot it regularly. I am a Navy veteran discharged Dec. 1975.

    New Inland M1 Carbine

Just found this forum and wish I had found it a month ago. Looks like some very valuable information is posted here. Many, many thanks to the posters.

I have wanted one of these things since I was about 14 years old, which has been many, many years ago.

Spent about 8 years in the Navy, ( Nuke boats), like to target shoot, reload ammo and do some minor gunsmithing. I am retired, so I can pretty much do as I please.

Again, very much appreciate all the posters and the info they have provided. Keep up the good work.

Hi all, new to this website but have visited several times for info. I have collected arms for 40 years but was never a dedicated military collector, had a few full autos in the early 70's but moved on to Winchester levers and percussian Colts. I have a great interest in the early years of the NWMP and 1885 rebellion , Upper Canadaicon Colt's and Fenian raids. I recently aquired a number of Enfields and am already learning plenty from the Milsurps website

    New Member here

    Hi,

Just introducing myself. Been shooting for 35+ or so years but have only recently gotten into MilSurps. I'm primarily interested in .22 "trainers" with no particular focus yet. Have picked up a Cooey 82, Mossberg 44US(c) and a K98icon (in .22) is inbound. I'm currently looking for a No7 and lots of advice from thoughs more experienced than I.
