G'Day for a newbie...
G'Day to all you avid rifle students, users and enthusiasts,
Following a good tip form a mate who has been helping me with rifle parts and a wealth of knowledge (thanks Robbie), I've discovered this site and its brilliant breadth had depth of knowledge. The collective understanding of Service rifles from around the world is amazing. While the www has been the loss of countless billions of productive hours of human endeavor since first inception, it has also been a step-jump in accessing knowledge remotely.
I'm grateful for the time and effort many of you go in to when describing your passion and hobby, it makes it an easy and efficient medium for knowledge sharing and learning. I hope to be able to contribute some information of benefit to others in the future.
In the meantime, I'm here to learn, listen and question to better appreciate the collective knowledge on Service rifles.
Thanks for allowing me to join the forum, hope I can be of help.
Regards,
Peter

Hi
I have been shooting and collecting firearms for 60 years.
I was a Registered Firearms Dealer (Gunsmith) for many years but now content myself with my collections of Colt revolvers (pre 1880) Remington Rolling Block rifles and pistols and Enfield Rifles.
I live in England, near Oxford and shoot locally and at Bisley.

Hi. I've been lurking for a little while trying to research and learn about my newest acquisition and first mil-surp rifle, T99 Arisaka.

Hi! I am new to this whole forum thing. I collect world war era rifles, and a few extra odds and ends I find I need.
