Registered a long time ago, but never posted as I waste too much time on other forums already . Been drooling over the Canadian semi sten thread for years and thought its about time to pick up a kit before someone changes the rules on us.

Hello from Iowa. Have been reading this forum for some time off and on, decided time to register and join-besides, all my free looks had expired. Long time shooter, hunter (gun and bow), reloader, collector, and selective gunsmithing. Bought my first Milsurp back around 1992, a SMLE No.4 Mk 1. Since have added a Savage version, two Mauser K98k's, two Russian Mosin-Nagant's, a 1917 30/06 Enfield, a Springfield M1 Garand, a Springfield 03/A3, and recently a 03 Springfield. Reload for all calibers, cast a lot of the gas checked bullets I shoot in them. Shoot a lot of black powder firearms also, plus other smokeless handgun/rifles. Not to much into shotguns except for hunting, occasional informal trapshooting. Former 21 yr vet of law enforcement and 19 yrs heavy equipment operator. Like guitar playing also, been doing so 50 yrs. Have long history of family involvement of use of military arms going from son's two tours in Mideast, to every war the US has been involved in its history, starting with my Great Great Great Great Grandfather a combat Captain aide to General George Washington during the American Revolutionary War. Look forward to reading and learning more on this site, love other firearm based forums I'm registered with. Der Jagar

I came here looking at embossed ammo cans, which I like.
I tend to like things that seem over-engineered or interesting in design, function.

I also like interlocking puzzles in the form of art work and on a separate thread, I like Tansu and Sendi chests from Japan and Korea.
