hi!Todd Lynn here, first time member. just getting into military firearms and having a hard time finding answers to a question I have. my question is: purchased a 1903a3 nalt ord rifle s/n 5003838 have been reading some negative comments about them, wondering if there is any truth to them. The cast receiver blowing apart or the head spacing stretching?

Hello everybody.
I'm a modest Lee-Enfield collector and a vintage black powder shotgun hunter (with my gun dogs).

New member and new collector
Just wanted to say "Hi" and hope to learn a lot from these forums. I discovered this group while trying to find information on validating my SA M1903 Mark I that I rescued from my late grandfather's estate. I also received a 1920 Steyr-Pieper model 1908/34. I am thinking that he brought these back from the war when he served in the Army.
