A Collector's View - The SMLE Short Magazine Lee Enfield 1903-1989. It is 300 8.5x11 inch pages with 1,000+ photo’s, most in color, and each book is serial-numbered. Covering the SMLE from 1903 to the end of production in India in 1989 it looks at how each model differs and manufacturer differences from a collecting point of view along with the major accessories that could be attached to the rifle. For the record this is not a moneymaker, I hope just to break even, eventually, at $80/book plus shipping. In the USA shipping is $5.00 for media mail. Hello to all members

Howdy my name is Tom and I am the proud owner of a 7.7x58 type 99 rifle. My dad fought in WW2 and fought in the campaigns in Saipan, Tinian, and Tarawa, then served as a peacekeeper in Nagasaki Japan to help assure an orderly return to Japaneseicon soldiers from China. He was allowed to bring back 2 items from a huge pile of weapons. He brought home a Japanese sword and a 7.7x58 rifle which he gave to me about 10 years ago. So glad to have found this forum. I am just getting ready to reload all of my 7.7 brass that I have purchased from Hornady, Norma, and Graf and Sons. I have fired about 60 rounds to give me a good start on reloading. Best Regards, Tom

    Hi there!

I am the new boy (born in 1942) in the block.
I live in Italyicon, in a remote Alps village, few miles from the Austrian border.
This village is not too far(about 15 mi.) from Antholz-Anterselva, where the recent biathlon championship took place.
I am in retirement now and I spent my (largely available free time) hunting in the area, fishing and walking in the woods.
I would be glad to exchange views with other members.

Kreigsmarine WW2 German Clock - New Member

    Hi All,
Im from the UKicon and am selling a clock at auction. There is some history to this clock as it belonged to my grandfather Albert Edward Fuller who fought in the battle of the River Plate and was awarded a medal for his efforts. He also had road in Canadaicon named after him.

This clock was obtained by my grandfather since WW2 and my grandmother used to talk of him and something about The Graf Spee ( I wish I had listed to her when young) . I did wonder about the impossible which is was this clock from part of the battle but I dont think its likely. Anyway Ive seen somebody on here talking about clocks similar to this one and there may be somebody out there that lilkes collecting them
Here is the link A Nazi German Kriegsmarine wall clock, the 16cm | 26th February 2020 | Denhams

    Best regards

    Greetings to all from NZ

    Hi all,
New to this great site, already received a wealth of info
I’m Middle Age, ex military, and semi retired
I’ve found a new hobby rebuilding a sporterised SMLE No1Mk3*, it’s taken 6 months but love my new hobby. Since then have purchased two more (No1mk3)
First one has been cleaned up for my son as a Bush rifle, the other is my next project to rebuild a Lithgo, as my first was an Enfield BSA
    Thanks
    Hope to chat soon
    Sambuca
