A Collector's View - The SMLE Short Magazine Lee Enfield 1903-1989. It is 300 8.5x11 inch pages with 1,000+ photo’s, most in color, and each book is serial-numbered. Covering the SMLE from 1903 to the end of production in India in 1989 it looks at how each model differs and manufacturer differences from a collecting point of view along with the major accessories that could be attached to the rifle. For the record this is not a moneymaker, I hope just to break even, eventually, at $80/book plus shipping. In the USA shipping is $5.00 for media mail. Cool Central Canadian Checking it All Out

I'm a 30 something male living out by Shilo, MB.

Interests include schematics collecting, motorcycles, CNC Machining, 3D printing and old surplus gear. Not currently owning any firearms but interested in the future of exploring owning some historic and modernization examples.

Looking for some help with parts kits in Canadaicon as well as interested in partnerships to bring new life to old parts through fabrication of long missing or de-milled hardware.

    Newbie in Ohio

    Greetings.
Relatively new to serious collecting. Been hunting, shooting, reloading since childhood. Owned a few Mauser's back in the 70's. Back then I was butchering them for the k-98 actions for use in custom builds. Wish I knew back then what I know now.
Presently own one Springfield Garandicon 1955 barrel and action in new CMPicon wood. Got in on the CMP 1911 round 2 dealio. According to rgn# I expect it sometime next week.
Most recent requisition is a 1903 Springfield project. It's a 1920, Ser# 1196717. Barrel dated 5-20. The bolt is polished and is stamped J6. The receiver rails are polished, and it's been drilled and tapped for a Lyman 48S receiver sight. I'll be posting questions/pics in the appropriate section soon in hopes of finding out exactly what this rifle is, or isn't.
Thanks for having me. Prepare yourself for my stupid questions. Steve in Ohio

    New Member Post

Hi folks. New member here. Have browsed the site many times and decided to join. Recently purchased a carbine from Royal Tiger out of Ethiopia. The stock and handguard have no identification markings - they appear to have been sanded off or otherwise removed. Receiver is Quality Hardware, whole gun has been reworked with some parts and assemblies replaced. Appears in very good condition - ordered a bore scope to check out the bore. Will have more info as time goes on, etc.

    Greetings from New Brunswick Canada

    Hello all

I recently found myself in possession of a 1943 Globe Firearms model 201 sporter Longbranch No4 Mk1 Lee Enfield..I remember seeing these in Eatons and Canadianicon Tire as a kid in the late 60s/70s....Funny how things come full circle....I had a Lee Enfield I bought from a WW II vet way back in 80s... it was also a sporter... had a beautiful custom Monte Carlo Stock..came from War stock... never saw action..or use for that matter..it was mint..dont think that gun had more than 50 rounds through it ..I eventually sold it ..but condition wise is far cry from my current Lee.... which needs some work..lots... so it seems..but that is a topic for another post..so my search for information led me here...and from what I can tell..I am in good company..so I would like to extend big appreciative thank you in advance to eveyone for your combined efforts in contributing and the sharing of your knowledge and wisdom.

    Hello there!

    Hey there everyone!

Brand new to these forums and have to say it's pretty amazing to see all the content, particularly are WW2 firearms, particularly one of my favourite, the Sten!

I look forward to interacting with other firearm enthusiasts and hope to learn a lot here!
