Hello everyone. I'm new to this type of forum. I'm a US Army Veteran of 25.5yrs (1983-2008). I served with the 25th ID(L), 82d ABN DIV and 75th RGR RGT. I recently received my father-in-law's 1945 Enfield 5 Mk1 Jungle Carbine (Srl # BB 4615). How can I tell if it is an authentic Enfield Jungle Carbine? I'd like to attach some pics of the weapon; however, it's asking me for a URL for my images. I don't have a URL. Is there some way I can attach the images? Thank you for the assist.

A Collector's View - The SMLE Short Magazine Lee Enfield 1903-1989. It is 300 8.5x11 inch pages with 1,000+ photo’s, most in color, and each book is serial-numbered. Covering the SMLE from 1903 to the end of production in India in 1989 it looks at how each model differs and manufacturer differences from a collecting point of view along with the major accessories that could be attached to the rifle. For the record this is not a moneymaker, I hope just to break even, eventually, at $80/book plus shipping. In the USA shipping is $5.00 for media mail. Just saying hello

New member so my first post. Found this site when reading a book by Roger Wadham called "Lee Enfield Accuracy secrets: The 2012 complete book on Lee Enfield Accurizing" . I have a Number 4 mk2 and am in the process of changing front sight to zero as recommended. I am in UKicon and target shooting with full bore rifles and blackpowder muzzleloaders is my passion.

    Hello from France !

    Hello to all !

I'm 52 (nearly 53, actually) and have been into military surplus rifles for some time now. My interests are centred primarily on Germanicon Mauser rifles, of which I have a few samples, such as a Model 1935 Brazilianicon contract, a 1937 Portuguese contract m/937-A or a .22 LR DSM 34. My latest acquisition, though, is a Britishicon .22 LR N° 2 Mk IV* SMLE, and, knowing close to nothing about SMLEs, I have registered on here in order to gather as much information about it as possible.

Apart from that, I'm a civil servant and a reserve officer in the Frenchicon navy.

Hi! I've always been a Lee Enfield fan. My first rifle was a Parker-Hale Supreme No. 4. I recently enjoyed a moment of nostalgia, and picked up a Parker-Hale Custom No. 1. Unfortunately, the sights aren't terribly compliant with my eyes, which is how I ended up on this site. I'm looking for a Parker-Hale BA27 scope mount. Here's hoping I have some luck.

Hello all. I'm getting back into shooting and collecting. I like Lee-Enfields but I've been picking up a few South American Mausers recently.

    Hi Folks.
I am impressed at the superb information provided by members. I have frequently examined information exchanges to assist me in evaluating my small collection and those of others. Recently acquired a 1942 GPW and trailer. Looking for an M3 Scout or M8 Greyhound. Have been collecting firearms since 1975.
