Greetings;

I was doing a bit of minor research and blundered onto this forum. From what I read I see that there is a great repository of information.

Now retired (mostly), I've been shooting since I was a tadpole and spent quite a few years as a firearms instructor for both Law Enforcement and the Army National Guard and about 25 years as a gunsmith.

Still what I do not know would fill volumes and I certainly need help from time to time getting the facts straight.

Glad I found this place

PS - the handle is not to be so secretive now that I'm retired, I fell into the habit because the Yankee Gubmn't did not like its employees visiting those awful gun places

I am new to this site, but that would be the only thing new about me. I have varied firearms in my collection and one is a Mauser M24/47. Cyrillic version ПРЕДУЗЕЂЕ 44. A very clean rifle that I picked up a few years back from a widow selling her departed husband's firearms. I am more focused at my age on blackpowder firearms and would like to sell a couple of my Mausers. Besides the one mentioned above I also have a sporterized Mauser that I believe is a K98 type. So I am looking for suggest on how to proceed in putting some photos on the site to see if any interest is out there for these to rifles.

I have been practicing for a few year now with surplus rifles, (we have in Europe competitions dedicated to those kinds of "old" weapons) and I really enjoy it.

In just a few year I started accumulating rifles (don't tell my wife! ) such as Mosin Nagan (ok very common), arisaka, chinese Arisaka, Husqvarna made Carl Gustav, K98, Mauser ES340, etc...

Let's share the passion, and let me learn from your experience !
