New Guy
I have a small collection of mostly Military Surplus Rifles....I know just enough to probably spend to much for the wrong thing. I'm here to gain the knowledge necessary to fully enjoy the Firearms I have and become a more educated collector. I find the hunt for the old rifle to be often as rewarding as owning it. Thanks to all who contribute to this site.

Hello from North Texas
I'm Walt and a somewhat lapsed military collector. My area of interest is primarily WW2. I was a long-time member of The Carbine Club before it ceased publishing and have a modest M1 Carbine collection.
A secondary interest has been US Army field uniforms and gear, to include WW2, Korea, Vietnam, and Desert Storm.
I served 28+years in the USAF and USAF Reserve, Florida National Guard, and US Army Reserve.
Currently I'm trying to learn as much as possible about an Longbranch No.4Mk1* I recently traded for.

Looking forward to reading through posts and picking up new ideas.
I am in Sydney, Australia.

Hi, I am new here, and will have some questions about some of the guns that I have. One of my areas of interest is WWll weapons. Looking forward to some expert comments on some of the things I may have. I am going to start, I hope tonight, with questions about a Springfield 1903 - A4 that I recently acquired. Cheers, Cal
