    Greetings

Greetings from Louisiana. Glad to be a member of this forum. I am looking forward to expanding my firearms knowledge, and I hope that I will also be able to contribute. I have spent 30 years as a curator at a Civil War battlefield park and am fairly knowledgeable about Civil War guns.

A Collector's View - The SMLE Short Magazine Lee Enfield 1903-1989. It is 300 8.5x11 inch pages with 1,000+ photo’s, most in color, and each book is serial-numbered. Covering the SMLE from 1903 to the end of production in India in 1989 it looks at how each model differs and manufacturer differences from a collecting point of view along with the major accessories that could be attached to the rifle. For the record this is not a moneymaker, I hope just to break even, eventually, at $80/book plus shipping. In the USA shipping is $5.00 for media mail. Saying Hi in proper social distancing fashion

So I have a technical background in Tool and Die engineering, but went back into computer programming a LONG time ago and have been doing that for 20+ years now. Want to get back into the mechanical side of life and looking for a Mill to start doing some work in the weapon restoring/creation hobby. I have a lot of experience in most of the 3-D cad/cam software out there and want to also use that to make better models for other avid creators out here.

    Unhappy Beretta M1 Garand

Owner a Beretta M1icon Garand for around 25 yrs and sadly have never fired it. Being brought in from Italyicon I was told back then that it was for ceremonial duties at the Vatican. I dont attend Church so have No proof &^)

I have a thick Gun & Ammo Magazine 'Digest' that features the M1 Garand and has mention & Picture of my rifle calling it very rare. Wondering in what Range $ it would sell for ....?
