    Hello from the Wet Coast

    Hi
I am new to gun collecting, having recently inherited a small collection of guns formerly belonging to my father, grandfather and great-grandfather.
As such, I am looking to whittle down the extras as I am unsure exactly what to do with them all. Some appear to be worth a lot, others, a little.

A Collector's View - The SMLE Short Magazine Lee Enfield 1903-1989. It is 300 8.5x11 inch pages with 1,000+ photo’s, most in color, and each book is serial-numbered. Covering the SMLE from 1903 to the end of production in India in 1989 it looks at how each model differs and manufacturer differences from a collecting point of view along with the major accessories that could be attached to the rifle. For the record this is not a moneymaker, I hope just to break even, eventually, at $80/book plus shipping. In the USA shipping is $5.00 for media mail. I will accept PayPal, Zelle, MO and good old checks (and cash if you want to stop by for a tour!). CLICK BANNER to send me a PM for International pricing and shipping. Manufacturer of various vintage rifle scopes for the 1903 such as our M73G4 (reproduction of the Weaver 330C) and Malcolm 8X Gen II (Unertl reproduction). Several of our scopes are used in the CMP Vintage Sniper competition on top of 1903 rifles. Brian Dick ... Hi all, I'm looking to purchase my first rifle. I'd love an MLE or carbine, or early SMLE. I've not owned or shot anything as an adult, but did shoot Lee Enfield's regularly as a teenager, in the army cadet, in the UKicon, in the 70's. Of course now I've started looking, I can see clearly, that in time I'll need more than one I like to restore stuff too, which is lucky cos I'm on a tight budget. Currently living in Malta - the Mediterranean island, not the US town.

I recommend listing them one at a time in the right forum [top left] with many photos showing numbers, action, etc.

Hello everyone, I'm a historian who works mostly on the 1930s with a focus on the Spanish Second Republic and Civil War. I've started to get into collecting firearms from the civil war, and am always on the lookout for more of them or simply the chance to learn more about them! I had a good talk with a Range Safety Officer the other day and he suggested I join.

I enjoy refurbishing, or as my partner calls it "turd polishing"!

It's great to join the group.

I spend a lot of time with my father reading and collecting. Looking forward to returning the favor so I can try to teach HIM something!
