Hello all, thanks for allowing me to join your great group of collectors. I am ex ADF Infantry soldier and current private contractor who is a keen collector of all things WW1/WW2. In particular anything Sniper related. I am based in QLD, Australia
.
Thanks again.

O3A4 SCOPE QUESTION
I have just acquired a 1903A4 sniper rifle from my brother, he brought it back from Vietnam 1967-68 from a warehouse of captured and turned in weapons, serial #3408432 barrel date 2-44, if I am looking at this correctly that would make it the #1344 in the first serial number block and if that is correct what scope [scopes] would be correct for it since it is one of the early rifles, I am a first time new member and would appreciate any help I can get in this matter.

Oldtar, you will get more answers by posting in the 1903 forum. Use the drop down from "Forum" at the top and post in the 1903 section. You can also search on the site [top right] that might net you more information quickly.

Howdy folks. With only 5 milsurps at the moment, I won't call myself a "collector", but I'm working at becoming one.
