    A Collector's View - The SMLE Short Magazine Lee Enfield 1903-1989. It is 300 8.5x11 inch pages with 1,000+ photo’s, most in color, and each book is serial-numbered. Covering the SMLE from 1903 to the end of production in India in 1989 it looks at how each model differs and manufacturer differences from a collecting point of view along with the major accessories that could be attached to the rifle. Just bought a "Fulton Regulated" LE No 4 mark 1/2 in 0.303 .

    My previous 0.303 was a typical Kiwi Cut-Down that was good for shooting a horse at 6 inches distance but not at all accurate. It had a M.O.A. of about 36inches.

    Quite excited to enter a few local shoots here in Taranaki to see if i can hit the target.

    This forum has excellent information and advice so thanks to all the previous contributors.

    Looking forward to learning more
    Cheers

    New member...Hello.

    Hi, new member. I am interested in having a Bren LMG parts kit made into a semi. I was given a name of a builder and was hoping someone has used his services or knows of his reputation before I send off my parts kit? His name is Jim Kelly out of New York.

    New member from Oklahoma

    Hello All, New member here from Oklahoma. Not a collector but I recently came into about 20 military rifles and pistols that have made me appreciate that others do collect them. I am mainly interested in researching what I actually have. A couple of what I have are:
    * Steyr M.95M Cavalry rifle, all matching
    * Spanish model 1943 short rifle, all matching with fascist stamp on stock
    * 2 German K98icon, BNZ42 & BNZ44 larger stamp with bayonets and 1 sling
    * 2 Russianicon Nagant M1895 pistols with ammo and original holsters and 1 belt
    * Argentineicon Model 1879 Remington Rolling Block, .43 Spanish
    * Argentine model 1891 Engineer Carbine, all matching but stock, made in Berlin
    * Portuguese model M1886 in 5 round, 6 round & 8 round lengths, 1 bayonet.
    * Shiloh New model 1863 in .54 cal. sn 1597 and a beautiful rifle.
    Advise on where to start would be greatly appreciated.
    Thanks in advance!

    New member approaching!

    Hello! I'm Akai (not my real name, of course haha). I'm surprised I never joined these forums earlier but I love milsurp guns; I've got a beat-up 1943 Izhevsk Mosin M91/30 as well as a Series 1 Nagoya Arisakaicon Type 99 in wonderful condition. Hope to meet good people and learn and show more of these amazing pieces of history! I think I'll head on over to the individual sub-forums for my guns ;D

    Say hi to a Belgian weapon collector

    Hi,

    I'm Paco, mostly active on most FN Herstal forums.
    However, i do have an amount of WW2 weapons, Vietnam, and other conflicts.

    I'm both in the army and in civilian life I know, complicated). I'm co founder-boardmember of the Belgian Gun Collectors Association. Belgische Vereniging Van Wapenverzamelaars - BVVW
    I do weapon and munition testing for living and also teach kids war history in civilian school. (Yes, i take the weapons with me)

    I write for a Dutch and a Frenchicon gunmagazine. Currently writing a book on the FN FNC rifle.
    It seems to take forever.
    I 'll post some reference pics on Belgian weapons asap. If you are in need for detailed pics on FN weapons, please say so. Let's say it is easy to touch unmodified and original weapons to me.

    Below, some weapons in my collection.
    Paco

    At school ; )

    Hi everyone! From North Alabama here. I have spent most of my days lurking around the CMPicon boards with the same screen name. I am more of a collector than a shooter these days. My back and legs kinda prevent me from having a nice range day. I am in to any U.S Milsurp and really anything else related to WW1 &2. But my collection is kind of all over the place! Took long enough for me to sign up here! Have a blessed day, everyone!
