    Old hunting photographs

I made up two albums of old hunting pictures on the server here. They should always be accessible by clicking the Photo Gallery link above and to the left or by following these links:

Old Hunting Photographs - PhillipM’s Photo Gallery - Military Surplus Collectors Forums

    and this link:

Old Hunting Photographs - PhillipM’s Photo Gallery - Military Surplus Collectors Forums

It would be neat to make an antique firearms quiz from these photographs.

Great photos. One of the reasons we had many fine marksmen during WWII. Audie Murphy, for example grew up hunting for his supper in East Texas woods. No doubt it came in handy, hunting and making head shots on Germanicon soldiers with an M1icon Carbine.

    Thumbs up

For those of you viewing Phillip's great old hunting pics and wondering where and how he's storing them, check out the latest announcement.

Photo Gallery for members now on-line! (click here)

Phillip was one of the first members to spot this new feature of the site, even before the announcement was made. Another way of easily viewing photo albums is to look under a member's user name in posts and see whether or not they have their own Photo Gallery on-line.

    (Click PIC to Enlarge)

As an example, if you click the link under Phillip's name titled View Photos By: PhillipM, you'll be taken to Phillip's Photo Gallery home page and be able to see a list of all his albums.

You can also leave personal "Comments" for Phillip right in his albums as to what you think of his collection.

By the way, as I said in my own "comment" in your album, great old pics Phillip. Thanks for posting them.

    Regards,
    Badger

Your welcome everyone. They were sent to me in an email entitled "When huntin' was huntin'", I don't have any further information on them.

What kind of hides and tails are these?
