    With thanks to John Sukey

and his generosity in supplying me with a MH short lever, I can
now shoot my MH IV from the bench without having to stand up
    in order to eject.
Obviously not wanting to alter my orig buttstock, in case I ever decide to sell the rifle,
    I was concerned
that without the brass stock cup it might not go into battery.
It did - I fired a case with just a primer - firing pin hit dead center.
As a matter of interest, I was having a helluva time getting the
breechblock to pop in unti I added a few gobs of grease to the slot.
    It popped right in.
Just goes to show - "A little dab'll do ya"
