Front sight height and impact point question

I have a 1917 and 1903A3 I am starting to prep for some vintage matches. I have a variety of front sight heights for both guns.Can anyone ball park the amount of change I will see in impact height with a .010. Change in front sight height at 200 yds. Variables aside the 1917 is within a couple inches.
As I remember the 03a3 shoots about 10 inches high with the rear sight all the way down at 100 yds.But that was 6 years ago I now belong to a 200yd club.
Just trying to save a little range time and a few precious bullets. Thanks.

Sight radius times the tangent of 1 MOA equals sight change for 1 MOA. The tangent of 1 MOA is .00029, which can be rounded to .0003, then all you have to remember is to multiply the sight radius by 3 and knock off four decimal places to get the 1 MOA sight change.

For example, 32" sight radius times 3 = 96". Move decimal four places left = .0096", which is approximately the amount of sight correction for 1 MOA with a 1917, and about what you'll get with your .010" front sight change.

Save writing - just remember "1-2-3-4"

1. For a 1 MOA sight change,
2. Measure the distance between the 2 sights (front/rear),
3. Multiply by 3.
4. Move decimal 4 places left.
