I cannot tell a lie; it is not me. It's my uncle Louis, shown here with one brother and sister, in 1918; there were nine in the family.
None went overseas, except my Great Aunt Jane. A nurse, she joined the Army (which "nice" women did not do in those days), and worked in several base and field hospitals in France. I have her photo album; some of her battlefield photos are a bit grisly. I had posted a bunch of them on the old CSP 1903 Forum and may do so here some day in the future.
