P-14s and .303 BLANKS at Military Gun Supply, Ft. Worth

Military Gun Supply has 6 P-14s in stock today. I only looked down two bores but both were shiny. 4 were $449, two without as much cosmolineicon, but appearing little better, just cleaner; were $499. Overall the P-14s appeared to inspire a good deal more confidence than the beater Mk III LEs and a couple of No. 4's.

Reenactors take note; they have a goodly stock of .303 blanks in the old blue paper packets tied with string (wonder if they will still light off??) at $5.95/20. Live Ammo was "Hot Shot" brand which I never heard of, 150 gr., $17.95/20.

While I was in there I saw a group, a dad and his two boys, clearly with 'assault rifle fever' bring in two sporters, one a converted LE and the other some mundane commercial rifle, to "trade up" for something with more pizzaz. I'm thinking; he has a 10-shot bolt action; detach mag; with a scope... he might better keep that... as opposed to gosh knows what they offered...

Century International Arms has brought in the HotShot. They had it made in several places, 7.62x39 from Romania, the rest of the calibers from Serbia recently.
