A real, real nice rig and firearm. I should be so lucky.

I've found it helps to have collected these pistols for several years, made a lot of contacts and then attend gun shows about 20-25 weekends a year.
I guess I'm saying when I do the work and put in the time...it seems to increase my chances of being lucky.

You must be aware sir, the government of Canada does not condone collecting firearms. We have no such rights as full auto or class 3. Those that have must trade amongst themselves. The real nice military collectables have disappeared and much of it has gone south because that's where the dollar lies. Our gun shows in no way rival the U.S. shows. The sort of thing you are used to seeing is simply not at our shows. The only way I became aware of Eagle snap pouches is on sites like this. To see a pistol like that would only be in a private collection and then not for sale. I saw a beautiful example of a C number last Easter that was exactly as I described. I used to collect U.S. military and had exellent examples of everything from the turn of the century forward. All that went for sale so I could buy a house. A typical story but now there's no way to rebuild such a collection because of laws changing and the distinct shortage of equipment. I now have to limit my enjoyment of the collections to viewing such fine guns as you have.
