Thumbs up Milsurp/Tac Rifle Shoot,July 7th Peace River, AB.

Peace Country Fish and Game Association will be holding it's 2nd annual Military Rifle/Tactical Rifle shoot on July 7th, 2007, 10 AM, at the Peace River, AB rifle range.

Course of fire will consist of three 'move and shoot' stages, at a mix of steel and paper targets. Your time will be your score. CoF hasn't been finalized, but should be well under 50 rounds. Entry fee is $10 per class. Shooters may enter 1 rifle in each class.

There will be two classes of entry, Modern and Classic:

Modern consists of any rifle designed after 1950 or any rifle with an optical sight.
Classic is any pre-1950 design, without optics.

While it's primarily designed for military type rifles, it is open to any make/model/design of rifle. So bring out your AR-15, Garandicon or Winchester '94 and have a great time! If you don't have a rifle you feel is suitable, contact me as I'm sure I can arrange a 'loaner' for you.

Lunch will be available for cost (burgers/dogs) and we're planning on a post-shoot bbq, so bring a steak and refreshments. Camping space with power is available if you'd like to bring your tent or trailer to stay over, or arrive early.

Please contact me via pm or at stevo@cablerocket.com if you have any question or need directions. Alternatively, post your questions in this thread.
