    Igman .303 ball

I was recently shown some Igman .303 ball ammo loaded with 180 grain FMJ bullets. Has anyone used this ammo, is it good, bad or ugly

I've never seen any Igman for sale. Where do you find it in Edmonton, woodchopper? How much is it? Not that I need to pay for .303, but I am curious about it.

I bought 200 rds of igman from milarm a few years back $70/100 but I have not seen any at that price lately.

I got a sandbag 1/4 full of IVI 303 brass that I've been reloading and have not bought any 303 now for about 2 years

I have been keeping my eyes open for the prvi partizan ammo, it has nice brass, or at least the last batch of 100 I found was nice for relaoding.

    Igman ammunition

I haven't tried the .303 as I have lots of Winchester and Dominion/IVI/Imperial brass left to do me a lifetime. However , bought 10 boxes (200 rounds) of 8x57IS, 170 grain, soft point hunting loads. It worked well in a couple of Mausers.

With that much hunting ammunition at hand, I just had to order a Husqvarna 96 Commercial 8x57 from Trade Ex. (Like we really can invent any excuse to buy another rifle.) It really likes this stuff, and shoots as well as Winchester or Remingtons. However, that's only one rifle, and another may be different.

It is reloadable, and I have used Igman 8x57 brass to make 9.3x57 brass, running them through a Hornady resizing die with one pass, after lubricating the inside of the necks. Didn't lose any cases.
