WTK: Black leather FAL mag pouches ???

I recently bought two mag pouches that I am unsure of what they are for or what country used them. Thought I would ask the FAL experts here?
they are black leather and each pouch holds two magazines. They have leather straps that secure the flap style cover and they hook on the bottom on an aluminum stud. They are marked on the back "MEGO 1958" The back has one loop at the top which has an aluminum d-ring in it ? The shape of each mag pocket is angled at the bottom just like an FAL magazine. They also have the inside leather thong to help remove the mags from each pouch.
Your help is most appreciated !

Either they are Germanicon G1 magazine pouches or Austrian Stg 58 pouches.
