    M1C opinions

    Anybody have any comments on this rifle? I have requested a few more pics but have nor received them yet. The rifle sn was verified by David McLain,

    are the breeches of the cannons on the ordanance wheel little too big?

    guys chime in. Where is the DCM or CMPicon letter? None even mentioned in his ad. Rather let some1 with more expertise than me in M1C's pronounce this 1 real or not.Hairs on the back of my neck raising,on the description of the mount, and the cartouche. no where does it say it is a G&H mount, just correctly machined, is this a case of legal doublespeak, with no recourse to buyer?

    May 3 1932 is patent date not date of mfg

    Closest I have are 3,453,025 (CMPicon auction rifle w/matching base 3/4/07 black finish greek return) & 3,453,531 (Sprinfield Reseach 12/01/94 - DCM RIFLE SALE 1995 #075) - both are legit M1C's - - I have NO numbers inbetween (good or bad)

    By the way - the base is a legit number - the mount is on M1C 3,306,639 gunbroker.com 5/22/09
