Thank you so much Al. I talked about Herman's S&W revolver and was told by others it was everything but. When we saw it on film footage, there was no doubt. I would still like to get it in my hands for a minute.

Was it ever standard to stamp the german eagle, or swastika on foreign capture firearms?

i.e. Do thompsons or garands exist that have a german eagle proof on them etc..
