The rifle looks like a T-38 carbine which were used by cavalry and artillery men. He most likey is Artillery based on the wheels in the photo which probably belong to an artillery piece. The white Dove of peace certainly didn't fit these guys though, Ray

No they were not my friend, the were "troopers" of their Country the same as our boy's were. War, (if you haven't seen it,) is a very nasty and terrifying thing to experience, they did their duty, and so did our boy's!

Ok, Guns= war not Peace. Thats all I was saying. And I won't get into the diferences between our "boys" and their "boys" behavior while doing their "duty" during the war. Have we forgotten history already. Ray

Unfotunately their national policy was even more racist than the NAZI. They believed in the ultimate superiority of the Yamato Race.
It would be as if the KKK ran the entire United Statesicon.

Every nation Japane occupied and every prisoner they took was brutely treated, tortured and killed. Not so with any other allied nation. That is the difference. In the fighting, to win you have to fight fire with fire. Nice picture of Japaneseicon soldier and rifle. riceone
