    went to the store today

My local dealer called me and said that he had picked up a lot of surplus stuff from a estate sale I went to maybe buy a sling and ended up spending $395.00 that included tax. I got one 1918 dated G&K sling in good condition on unmarked sling in good condition one 1903 scabbard with the straps I think the date is 43, one garand scabbard with straps dated 1942, a 1917 bayonet scabbard the tip is a pitted but all there. a Boyt 45 dated 45 hoster in unissured condition a WW1 canteen cup, and cover. I did not intend to buy all of that stuff but it is stuff you do not see everyday so I jumped in

Make sure your familily knows who have rare and collectable leather goods. I have heard too many stories of family members tossing leather goods when Dad get ill/dies.
