    S&W Mdl 41 pistol value

    Gang,

I'm giving my S&W mdl 41 match pistol to my old shooting buddy as I can no longer shoot matches. I need a value for insurance on shipping and for the 01 FFL records on both ends.

It's the blued, long slide version of the .22LR 41 (the most beautiful pistol ever made in my opinion) and it's in 95% condition with mint bore, factory muzzle gas deflector, barrel weights and factory cleaning rod and screwdriver. I bought it in 1968 in Texas and can't remember what I paid for it then and have no idea of current value.

    Many thanks for your help!

    Hagar

Check out auction sites like Gunbroker and Auction arms to see what starting bids are vs. what amounts people are bidding on. A portion of sellers have prices set too high, thus no bids. That should give you a ball park price. You could also see if your local gun shop does appraisals. If you're a regular, they'll probably do it for free.

You are looking at 750.00 plus for that outfit in that condition.
