A Collector's View - The SMLE Short Magazine Lee Enfield 1903-1989. It is 300 8.5x11 inch pages with 1,000+ photo’s, most in color, and each book is serial-numbered. I feel the same, technologically and personality-wise, a world of difference, the dual personalities are dealt with, there is no spam or dissention, no broken links, no excuses to read, moderators and site owner are accessible, a well oiled machine and not a train wreck every day. What else to ask for?

well said indeed, This place a CLASS act (BZ)

while the technology and format take some getting used to, the quality of postings and info is as good as anywhere and the "active" site addmins keep everybody properly "moderated" (even me!).

BRAVO ZULU Doug (which, by the way, stands for "below the zone" promotion to higher ranks in the military if anyone didn't know this already).

    Hello dryheat ..

    Our apologies....

Yes, it was late when we finished the maintenance and we were unsure what to do with the "Gun Talk" forum, as its content and style are so uniquely a product of CSPicon itself.

So, we needed some time to think about it and as with the other forums, just so you guys didn't lose all of the content you've built up over the last six months with our temporary hosting, we've integrated all of the "Gun Talk" posts into The Watering Hole OT (Off Topic) Forum (click here). Also, if anyone clicks on the old "Gun Talk" link, it will take them to this same forum.

Feel free to use it until the Culvers bring their "Gun Talk" back on-line at their new site, or even after they do, everyone is most welcome to continue posting at our "Watering Hole" OT forum.

    Regards,
    Badger

I would like to take the time to throw out a huge thank you. Not only are thanks due Doug, but all of you that have made contact with us today just to say hi and thanks. I didn't know, well okay I did know, that we had as many members as we did thank you emails and PMs of support. The support has been unbelievable. It is wonderful that the vast majority of members stepped up and noticed all that was done for the betterment of the Culvers and their site. I wish the Culvers the best of luck with their new site. I hope they are able to use funds raised here to get the site up and going. With the knowledge the Culvers have it is bound to be top notch.

I truly do wish again to thank all those that stepped up and helped with the saving of the old CSPicon site. Without their help and hard work the site would have been gone seven months ago. You, the membership, are the real heroes for saving the site!
