    FAKE AYP 30s on GB

    http://www.gunbroker.com/Auction/Vie...Item=139704251

I have some originals, and these look like fakes. The stamp is wrong, and the back corners don't seem sharp enough bend. Maybe I am wrong, but, what does the crowd think. My originalsd are as good or better than my SEY or AI 30s.

A Collector's View - The SMLE Short Magazine Lee Enfield 1903-1989. It is 300 8.5x11 inch pages with 1,000+ photo’s, most in color, and each book is serial-numbered. Read Bill Ricca's findings about AYP mags on this web page.

    M1 / M2 Carbine Magazine FAQ

From the stamp alone, I'd say the mags for sale are fakes. (JMO)

The "AYP" stamps sure don't look like the marks on mine.

There is something missing that the real ones have. They are fakes....
When they tell you to behave, they always forget to specify whether to behave well or badly!
