    Nepal Martini,s

Picked these up at birmingham UKicon on sunday, turned out to be an expensive day, but worth it, wanted one for myself with the intention to sell the other two but they do look together, covered in grease and stored for over a hundred years, they come up quite well after initial clean, still a long way to go dont even know what the bore,s are like as yet.

A Collector's View - The SMLE Short Magazine Lee Enfield 1903-1989. It is 300 8.5x11 inch pages with 1,000+ photo’s, most in color, and each book is serial-numbered. Covering the SMLE from 1903 to the end of production in India in 1989 it looks at how each model differs and manufacturer differences from a collecting point of view along with the major accessories that could be attached to the rifle. For the record this is not a moneymaker, I hope just to break even, eventually, at $80/book plus shipping. In the USA shipping is $5.00 for media mail. The butt with the fort william roundel is the one with a crack/split, i will have a look at a later date with the view to repair it, if its possible.

Am still in the cleaning process of the wood, am using mother nature to give a helping hand, after a clean with linseed oilicon they are left in a room which gets the sun most of the day, a few minutes and the wood starts to sweat as can be seen in one of the pics.
