Just tore down my "new" Long Branch MK1*.

    Year: 1943
    SN: 41L2850
    Barrel: 2 Groove
    Rear sight: CMK 3
All LB + C broad arrow marked + DCP (nothing foreign)
Except for a vertical line, matching on both sides above mag release, I don't think there's a non-production ding.
    Mag + Furniture: LB marked
    Unusual mark on handguard:
    Attachment 121950

    My Longbranch

1950 C No 4 Mk 1* , serial # 93L2604. dark wood, non-grooved hand guard, steel butt plate, matching bolt, magazine non serialized, broad arrow marked butt stock and metal bits. Unfired pristine collectors piece, still has cosmolineicon? or grease in the nooks and crannies.

Roy, your 1L5110 is an outlier. It is the earliest known 1942 at this point. There is overlap in the 1941/42 numbers. This makes that overlap quite large.

In checking my post, the error I made is that the second paragraph with 1L1-9 should be dated 1941, not 1942. I'll ask Badger to correct this typo.
This is how it should read.
