Here's a nice early Swiss rifle for the collector/re-loader shooter....

Not a bad price if she's in solid condition. Ask if the magazine serial number matches the receiver.

Seller says:

1889 Schmidt Rubin rifle, numbers matching. Bluing is in very good condition, but there is a bit of freckling from some minor surface rust on the top of the receiver, magazine body and trigger guard. I have detailed pictures of these areas available. It's all very minor as 90% of the bluing is in beautiful shape, but I want whoever buys the rifle to know exactly what they're getting.

The stock is in good shape, but has two chips and had something rub against it on the left side - it is just superficial and should be an easy fix. Bore is bright and shiny! I haven't shot it so I can't comment on its accuracy, but these are supposed to be wonderful rifles to shoot with excellent triggers.

The seller dropped the price of this to $300....

In my opinion, for an "all matching" (including magazine?) 1889 Schmidt Rubin with solid wood, that's a pretty darn good price for a nice old collectible like this.
