Win Model 75 Target. Scope it?

    Hi, new to the forum

Just got this 75 from dad. It's the target model with 28in barrell. The rear sight is in place but the front sight and clip is missing.

I would love to get a scope on this things and see how far we can shoot.

I don't know much about this rifle so any info and advice would be nice.

will post pics when i can

My 75 had two factory drilled and taped holes on the chamber end of the barrel. Most likely for the long tubed scopes of the era. If yours has these EGW has a scope base that will mount to these. I've got one and it works fine. Used to test the true accuracy potential of the 75.
