A Collector's View - The SMLE Short Magazine Lee Enfield 1903-1989. It is 300 8.5x11 inch pages with 1,000+ photo’s, most in color, and each book is serial-numbered. Covering the SMLE from 1903 to the end of production in India in 1989 it looks at how each model differs and manufacturer differences from a collecting point of view along with the major accessories that could be attached to the rifle. For the record this is not a moneymaker, I hope just to break even, eventually, at $80/book plus shipping. In the USA shipping is $5.00 for media mail. I will accept PayPal, Zelle, MO and good old checks (and cash if you want to stop by for a tour!). CLICK BANNER to send me a PM for International pricing and shipping. Is this Ft. Sheriden Illinois? If so I was stationed there in 1983 for 2 years, can not see any structures or water tower. I knew that the cav. used the parade field for drills and as a range, also down by the lakefront. They Army only had a few M16icon's and we had to local purchase .223 at the local store to Qual. in the small indoor range..It was a great place to be with allot of history.
I worked for CSM Cobbet.....good mems

Yes I believe so. If you search the LOC under "American Memory" there is a few old pics of Ft Sheridan. I can't find the link of the specific image now. The link for that section search is too long to insert.

These pics remind me of what a neat rifle the Kragicon is. I had one in the 80's that I carried and shot as much as possible. They balanced beautifully and shot like a dream. As illustrated by these two prints.
