About 1919, so barrel date is probably correct. You'll need to use the ladder sight for those ranges. The notch sight is approx. 560 yards. Sounds like you'll need a new ejector, Bill Ricca maybe?

According to my War Dept 03 manual, the battle sight distance is 547 yards.
