mount for a long branch N°4

I am looking for a griffin & Howe mount to put a lyman alaskan on a LB N°4, peferably authentic, but a repro could be acceptable.
Did somebody know where I can find one?
A blueprint of te mount can be welcome
Thank you in advance for your answers

    ...

You might settle in for a long hunt. I heard/read somewhere that a fellow in Canadaicon or Minnasota?? can't remember, made a few dozen knock off mounts15 or so years ago. Finding an original? Odd things do happen, (as others here may attest), but don't hold your breath!

If I were you Patper, searching for a G&H type mount for your Lyman, I would buy a UKicon lottery ticket and when you win the jackpot, you'll be able to buy one. I'd guess that buying an original and winning the lottery would both give you the same odds

As a matter of interest, what part do you want. The rifle mount or the telescope bracket?

    mount

I hope that stupids will be forgiven, because i understand now that I asked for something really impossible to find.
a friend of mine got a lyman with a brackett and asked me if the rifle mount could be found.
As a simple minded, I enthusiastically answered : I know where I can ask, and I went on the forum... Apologies.
I have already bought a french lottery tickett. Who knows?

    Hey

You don"t know unless you ask! Is your friend's mount a G & H bracket for the No. 4? If it is, even missing the bracket, that is a rare find and worth something. If it is original, he can ask around on the boards, (post a picture), and you might get some solid leads.
Is the scope one of the 99 that were on the No4 LB? I'm panting now.....

There was a chap in Italyicon making reproduction G&H bases for the Long Branch rifles. He was selling them on eBay.

Maybe someone will have his contact info.
